Until 1938, the Jewish community in Vienna was flourishing with synagogues and prayer houses being built. Yet, emigration and the Holocaust left a void that will never be filled again. So get to know the Jewish Heritage of Vienna, much of it centered around the second district of Leopoldstadt.

Jewish Vienna City Walk
At the beginning of your tour, you will visit the Museum at Judenplatz. From the Judenplatz, the center of the former Jewish community, the city walk takes you to the City Temple of the Israelite Jewish religious community. Then you will continue to the Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district, once the center of Jewish life in Vienna. After the Jewish life was once brutally extinguished, an "active" Jewish community has been developing again.

After breakfast, you start with a panoramic city tour, followed by a visit to the Sigmund Freud Museum.

After a visit to the Viktor Frankl Museum, you enjoy your afternoon at leisure.

Sigmund Freud Museum
Sigmund Freud, the founding father of psychoanalysis lived in the 9th Viennese municipal district. The apartment and practice rooms at his former address Berggasse 19, were transformed to a museum, showing original furniture, the waiting room, a variety of Freud's private collection of antiques and preliminary versions of his work.

Viktor Frankl Museum
The world's first Viktor Frankl Museum is quite small but very interesting. Viktor Frankl, the founder of the logo therapy and existential therapy, has lived in this house from the end of the Second World War until his death in 1997.
